One of the judges said: \nThe book’s ebullient\, punchy style mixes well with Ed Oliver’s upbeat personality\, and captures the joy he experienced when golfing\, his mastery of the sport\, his deep immersion in the game and his competitive nature that\, combined with exceptional skill\, accelerated him to the top of the golfing elite. \nMr. Riley also has won significant awards for Delaware Eyewitness\, Behind the Scenes in the First State. Part memoir and part Delaware contemporary history\, he features a “behind-the-scenes look at more than six decades of the people\, places and events\, in and around the First State.” \nCover Charge\nExcept for the elected officials and any sponsoring individuals contributing $25 or $50\, there is a $5 cover charge for all others who attend. \nNote: We are happy to be holding an in-person Elected Officials Reception\, but the coronavirus is still with us. We ask that those at the reception be respectful of others’ space and emphasize that those who wish to wear masks should feel perfectly comfortable about doing so.
