The Delaware Coalition for Open Government invites you to attend our Annual Meeting, which will feature State Senator Laura Sturgeon and State Representative Cyndie Romer discussing the successful passage of Senate Bill 4, which created the Delaware Office of the Inspector General. Over two decades after the effort to create this independent and nonpartisan oversight office began, SB 4 was signed into law by Governor Matt Meyer on August 14, 2025. Sen. Sturgeon and Rep. Romer will discuss their efforts to finally get this legislation over the finish line and what the office will look like once it begins its investigations.
