DelCOG supports the passage of House Bill 6, which would allow the Auditor of Accounts to issue subpoenas directly and apply for a court order if a person fails to respond to the subpoena. Passed April 2025.
DelCOG supports the passage of House Bill 9, which would strengthening the double-dipping laws in Delaware by requiring disclosure of dual employment by paid elected and appointed officials who are also employed by another state agency. Passed April 2025.
DelCOG supports amending House Bill 311 to require disclosure of public ownership of real estate properties subject to school safety zones. Passed April 2025.
DelCOG supports amending SB 13 (2024) to limit the ability of the Hospital Assessment Commission to meet in Executive Session in line with other public bodies under Delaware’s open meeting laws. Passed April 2025.
DelCOG opposes Senate Bill 21, which would rewrite Delaware’s Corporation Law by eliminating investor protections and preventing meaningful judicial oversight of corporate executives and controlling shareholders. Passed April 2025.
